York & New England at Douglas Junction opened, 7 miles.

Incorporation THE MANUFACTURERS STREET RAILWAY COMPANY incorporated in Connecticut to build an electric railroad from

a connection with The New York, New Haven & Hartford at Cedar Hill, on private way to Chapel Street, and also on James

and River Streets to East Pearl Street, (using tracks of Fair Haven & Westville Railroad Company in Chapel Street for

connection.) Company organized November 23, 1893.
