Here is a rare selection of Christmas and New Year's Eve related paper material which was used on the New Haven Railroad between 1935 and 1968. All materials from the collection of Marc Frattasio.

Artwork proof sheets of advertising copy, such as this one, were sent by the various advertising agencies retained by the New Haven to the railroad for final approval prior to being run in newspapers or magazines. |
| This attractive Christmas and New Year holiday train tear-off, for train service between Boston and New York City, was posted on the New Haven Railroad between December 1938 and January 1939. |
| This card was placed on the seats of all intercity trains operating on the New Haven on Christmas Day 1944 to let service men and women aboard know that they were entitled to a free dining car meal complements of the railroad. |
| This tear-off promoted the New Year's Eve 'Times Square Special' trains which operated on New Year's Eve 1958/1959. |

| The New Haven Railroad often printed a special Christmas menu which was used on trains on December 25th. This Christmas menu was used on cafe cars on December 25th, 1968. Note that for Christmas, the normal post 1955 New Haven Railroad red, black, and white corporate colors have been replaced by traditional red, green, and white Christmas colors! |
