Travel Grants for Former New Haven Railroad Employees

The NHRHTA, Inc. is pleased to announce that an anonymous donor has provided support to fund a small number of travel grants to help former New Haven Railroad Employees attend the Annual Reunion this year. This support will involve an unrestricted grant in the amount of $50.00 - $200.00 based on need to help defray the costs of travel, lodging and/or the banquet meal. A review committee will judge all submitted applications and determine which applications will be funded as well as the amount of the award.

Former Employees interested in being considered for this travel grant should submit their application via one of the following methods by October 13:

2. U.S. Mail or other postal delivery service to:

Submissions should include the following information:**

• Name, address, phone number & email address if available
• NHRR employee number
• Number of years employed by the New Haven Railroad
• A brief description of your various job responsibilities
• Anticipated reunion attendance costs
• A few sentences telling us why this grant will be helpful
• Optional: A few fond memories of your time on the railroad

** No personal financial information is required and all information will be held in strictest confidence.
