Bay Ridge Wreck -- 1966

January 25th, 2001

Richard Glueck was kind enough to scan and send the the following pictures to us. Richard tells us, "My father was head of track for the LIRR and was always down on the Bay Ridge branch for some disaster or another. These pictures involve the wreck of two EF-4 freight locomtives after some local vandals threw a switch. I believe the pictures are dated 1966, but I'm not positive of that."
