NHRHTA Convention 2025 is in the books!

Thank you to all who made our Annual Convention such a success! Whether you did a presentation, hosted a layout tour, or helped fill out our Train Show as a vendor, we sincerely THANK YOU! We also ask for your patience as we ramp up our new Online Archive and enhance our Membership Services. Please also be patient with any delay in response as our Convention Team takes a well-deserved rest for a couple of days, to start preparing for next year!

CONVENTION DETAILS POSTED!

Your Annual Convention Team has worked hard to make this year’s event better than ever! Click here to go to the Convention Website for all the details . . . But here’s a preview!

  • Friday Night Bijou is BACK! Join us at the hotel starting at 6pm for a variety of NHRR Movies and Images.

  • Saturday Train Show is PACKED! All of our tables are SOLD OUT so be sure to check out our wonderful vendors between 10a and 3p.

  • Clinics & Presentations GALORE! From 10a to 4p we have a full HALF DOZEN folks presenting on a variety of NHRR topics, from modeling to history to accessing the UCONN Archive. And if that isn’t enough, we’ll be screening additional NHRR movies from 4-530.

  • Saturday Night Dinner is a MUST! Not only for fellowship with your fellow NHRR fans, but we will be presenting long-time NHRHTA President Bill Dulmaine with a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation for all of his many years of service. So be sure to join us to help celebrate his lifetime of accomplishment for the Association!

  • But that’s not all! During dinner, we’ll also be updating you on future modeling projects and the status of our publications AND we’ll be introducing our New Online Archive!

  • And FINALLY!  We'll have a Special Screening of Historic Railroad Photo Images by Thomas J. McNamara!

    • PLEASE NOTE! The deadline for getting your dinner reservation is August 26! So be sure to get it here today!

  • Sunday Funday - Layout Tours and Attractions! As if Friday and Saturday weren’t enough, we’ll be providing info at the show for additional NHRR-themed attractions to see in the area, as well as NHRR-themed model railroads you can visit (members only).

RAPIDO 50000-series COKE GONDOLAS

Rapido Trains will be producing the unique drop-bottom gondolas, very similar to New Haven’s 15 Standard Steel Car Co. gons, that they purchased in 1930. As usual, these can be reserved through the Readville Shops and are available as single cars or in a 6-pack of different numbers. If you order more than one car (up to six), all numbers will be different. Our price is $42 each, with the 6-pack @$248.
